Last week we got our family photos taken downtown Birmingham in front of our beloved Alabama Theater. I think I’ve had these photos in my head from the moment I moved to the Heart of the South. We love getting dressed up to see a show here, so I went with more of a formal than usual look. Hugo’s monogrammed outfit is from one of our sweet friend’s little shop in Homewood, Birmingham Bubbles (if you love classic children’s clothing you have to stop by or click over!)
Our usually very expressive toddler decided that he wasn’t having it that day, we did not get a single photo of him smiling. I kind of love having these pictures of him looking very serene and still. Aww!

We miss seeing a Christmas movie at the Alabama Theater. That was a tradition when we lived in Bham!
