As promised, here’s my list of Christmas concerts in the Nashville area. There are a few starting this weekend with many more through the month. I feel like most of these will be family friendly, although I’m not planning to bring Hugo to any that we may attend.

December 6 and 7, 2019 – 8pm – American Idol Star Kelly Pickler in Music City Christmas at the Schermerhorn – Arrive early and enjoy treats and activities in the lobby before the show begins. More information and tickets here.
December 7, 2019 – 11am – A Holiday Spectacular Sing Along at the Schermerhorn. Plan to arrive around 10am for a petting zoo, crafts and more. This relaxed family-style concert is also sensory friendly. More information and tickets here.
December 7, 2019 – 7pm – Jars of Clay Family Christmas at Liberty Hall at the Factory. This looks like such a fun show and I love this venue at the Factory, tickets are still available through today and kids are welcome! More info here.
December 8, 2019 – 3pm – Williamson County Chorus – A FREE concert by our very talented local chorus. They will be performing a classic Christmas show. More information here.
December 8, 2019 – 4pm – ‘Tis the Season Handbell Concert at Brentwood Methodist Church. A FREE concert by Music City Bronze. More information here.
December 8 and 9, 2019 – 7pm – A Night of Hope with Christy Nockels at the Franklin Theater. Join the Nockels family and special guests at this beautiful venue. Tickets here.
December 8 and 9, 2019 – 7pm – Behold the Lamb with Andrew Peterson at the Ryman. I have heard so many good things about this show, Andrew Peterson is performing this special 20th anniversary tour. More information and tickets here.
December 9, 2019 – 7:30pm – Drew & Ellie Holcomb’s Neighborly Christmas as the Schermerhorn. I love this dynamic duo and their Christmas show looks amazing! Tickets here.
December 10, 2019 – 7:30pm – Michael W. Smith Christmas with the Nashville Symphony at the Schermerhorn. His Christmas albums are always my most played, I was 9 months pregnant with Hugo when I went to his Christmas show with Amy Grant and I wept through the whole thing. Don’t miss this one! December 11 and 12, 2019 – Various times – David Archuletta (American Idol) at the Franklin Theater. Another one of my favorite voices at Christmas time, one of the showtimes is already sold out, so click here for tickets!
December 11 through 23, 2019 – Various times – Amy Grant and Vince Gill’s Christmas at the Ryman. Oh my goodness, don’t even get me started! Amy’s Christmas albums are the soundtrack of every Christmas I can remember, they are just so wonderful. She will be performing quite a few shows here at eh Ryman,get tickets here.
December 12 and 13, 2019 – 7pm – Home Alone in Concert with Nashville Symphony at the Schermerhorn. Watch this classic movie while a live orchestra plays the memorable John Williams soundtrack. Wear a ugly christmas sweater and arrive early to get your photo with the “Little Nero’s Pizza car” (keep the change ya filthy animal!) More information and tickets here.
December 15, 2019 – 5pm and 8pm – 1st Annual Music City Carol Sing at the Schermerhorn. Join with a 750-voice choir from 20 churches in the area for this amazing singalong! All proceeds will go to feed the hungry. Tickets here.
December 19, 2019 – 7:30pm – Steven Curtis Chapman. Acoustic Christmas at the CMA Theater. Tickets still available here.
December 19 through 22, 2019 – Various times – Handel’s Messiah at the Schermerhorn. The Messiah is one of my favorite pieces of music, I love to listen through it every year. Before I moved away, my siblings and I would attend a singalong Handel’s Messiah downtown Chicago every year and it was such a highlight. Fun fact: I am not a singer, but I have been on stage singing the Hallelujah Chorus more times that I remember ( I really do love it!) Tickets here.
