I’ll admit that January is a bit dull after all of those amazing Christmas events, but I’ve rounded up a few fun things to do this weekend and through the end of the month.
Free Events:
Saturdays at 9am – Franklin Farmers Market at the Factory
The Frist Art Museum is always free for ages 18 and younger ($15 for adults)

Brentwood Library has many wonderful events and storytimes scheduled throughout the month. Calendar and details are here.
January 18, 2020 – Celebrate Dolly’s Parton’s birthday at White’s Mercantile. Holly Williams is doing a storytime and songs at 10:30am. Snacks will be served. A percentage of sales that day will be given to Dolly’s Imagination Library. Details Here.

January 18, 2020 – Marshmallow Hike at Owl’s Hill in Brentwood Get out of the house and enjoy a hike that finishes up with hot cocoa. $10-$12 per person, register here.
January 18, 2020 – 12pm to 1:30pm – Family Swim at Goldfish Swim School in Franklin. Adults swim free and kids are $5 each (with a $15 family maximum charge). Enjoy a toasty warm mid-winter swim at Goldfish Swim School! Info here.
January 18 and 19, 2019 – Disney’s Aladdin Jr. at the Franklin Theater. For tickets and times click here.
January 19, 2020 – 2pm to 3pm – Dance day with Rapunzel. Fairytaled Events is hosting a beautiful dance class with Rapunzel at the Franklin School of Performing Arts. Cost is $30 per person and limited to 15. Details here.
January 20 and 25th, 2020 – Cookie decorating classes at the Sugar Drop in Brentwood. $45 per person. Each class has a different and fun seasonal theme. View their calendar and register here.
January 21, 2020 – 4pm to 7pm – Chick-fil-A is hosting family night at the Thoroughbred Square location, with crafts, food and Sean the Balloon Guy! Details here.
