In no particular order, these are a few of my favorite (recent) things…
- GT’s Kombucha Pure Love
I picked up a bottle of this kombucha a few weeks ago, between the pretty label and the blood orange, rose & hibiscus flavor, I was sold. It’s bright and citrusy and the floral rose taste is very sophisticated. It is one of my favorite flavors yet which is sad because it’s a limited edition. I found mine at Sprouts.
2. Toddler Conversations
Hugo is at such a great age, he’s completely out of the baby phase and full onto “little boy”. I’m biased, but I think he’s so clever and has so. many. words. He’s learning at the speed of light, but still messes some things up. He calls kangaroos “candy-roos” and The Incredibles “Incredi-burgers”. I already feel sad for the day that he learns how to actually say these things.
3. $8 Wood Fired Cheese Pizza at Whole Foods
Did you know that there is an amazon prime deal at Whole Foods for pizzas on Thursdays? We don’t do a lot of gluten, but when it’s a mommy and hugo night, we stop by Whole Foods and pickup a pizza. You have to stop by the pizza counter (near the deli) and put in an order, they will pop one into the oven for you and then you can do a little shopping and it’ll be done in 15 minutes. It’s a very generous sized pizza, with good ingredients and just a simple cheese and marinara topping for EIGHT DOLLARS (regularly $14, a solid deal either way). A very easy, yummy treat for a busy weeknight.
4. Barre Class
I’m back into regular working out at a gym. As it turns out, my son is the gym rat, I’m just here to help him live his dream. He loves the play area and kids classes and with the weather being cold and rainy I like that I don’t have to be outside at a park, the tradeoff is that I have to go to a workout class. Barre is still my favorite, I should probably do more cardio, but I mix it up with several different instructors/styles so I get my weights/jumping around/pilates all mixed in there. And it balances out the Thursday night pizza and nightly scoop of ice cream.
5. Seinfeld
I know, I know… I just recently started watching Seinfeld, from the very beginning for the first time. There is just something about those iconic shows, they’re really fun to watch, even being a generation or two apart, the humor is still so funny. I always get a kick out of seeing the scenes or lines that stood out and are still part of pop culture today.
