Here are the face masks I sewed the other day for the three of us. I was planning to do something simple, but as soon as I opened up my stash of fabric I just couldn’t help myself! I made a blue and white floral for myself, pink gingham made from an old Vineyard Vines dress shirt for Josh and a sweet little turtle printed cotton for Hugo.
I would consider myself at the intermediate level as far as sewing is concerned, but these are truly easy and I like this pattern for it’s clean, professional look. I was able to sew these three masks in under an hour, from start to finish and while managing my toddler (and by manage, I mean, he was simultaneously watching Octonauts and asking for more snacks AND unplugging my sewing machine).

Here is the pattern for a child sized mask and the video tutorial here is fantastic.
And here is a quick guide on cleaning and sanitizing your mask properly.
