I buy approximately one box of Lucky Charms cereal every March. I can’t help myself. Blame it on my Irish roots or my love of “Extra Festive”. The rest of the year it’s back to organic granola for me, but we enjoy every bite of this treat. Especially when it gets turned into Lucky Charms Snack Mix!
I usually make some kind of sweet treat and today I was in the mood for a Lucky Charms version of Chex Mix. Sweet from the marshmallows, salty from the pretzels and tangy from the delicious new Key Lime Pie M&Ms. Oh my goodness! They are delicious! It’s a bright and colorful treat that is perfect for a countertop for snacking or packaged into little bags and tied with a bow for gifts.
I added a drop of green food color to my melted white chocolate chips. I did not include this in the recipe because I feel like I needed a few more drops of color in order to really go for it with the green. Do what you will with this information.
