I’m excited to close out the month with our October 2023 favorites and welcome November! We have a jam packed holiday schedule and there is so much to look forward to. I have plans to decorate the house early this year so that I can maximize my Christmas coziness. I’ve begun to compile the lists and ideas and there is much to do, but it’s the best kind of work.
Here are some of our October 2023 favorites:
To Eat:
Bon Maman Pineapple Passionfruit Preserves – I bought a giant jar of this from Costco and it is so delicious. I love to swirl a spoonful of it to sweeten plain yogurt or you know, spread on hot buttered toast.
Trader Joe’s GF Pumpkin Pancake Mix – I grabbed a box of this from my local TJ’s and we really enjoyed making waffles in our mini waffle maker (we have a reindeer, but I’m not opposed to adding a buying a few more for holidays!)
Sleepy Girl Mocktail – The newest non-alcholic drink trend. You know how much I love my Adrenal Cocktails, this is the new version and perfect treat before bed. I use this Magnesium powder and I love using sparkling water or Poppi and Olipop Sodas.
To Watch:
Journey to Bethlehem – I have had some sneak peaks to this new Christmas movie and it hits theaters November 10. My beautiful friend Moriah stars as well as her husband Joel Smallbone of For King + Country. The movie soundtrack comes out this Friday and you will love it!
SNL hosted by Nate Bargaze – While I’m more of a SMLWC (Sunday Morning Later with Coffee) kind of girl, Josh and I did stay up to watch one of our favorite guy’s host SNL.
Buying & Trying:
RiseWell Toothpaste – Our pediatric dentist recommended this toothpaste so I went ahead and switched all of us over to it. We’re fans!
Dr. Bronner’s Magic Balm – I woke up this morning with a crick in my neck and pulled this stuff out. I’d forgotten how much I love the smell and feel of this balm for aches and pains.
Thieves Oil – I absolutely love the smell of this essential oil blend. It’s one of my favorite ones to put in our diffusers, especially in our homeschool room. It’s perfectly spicy and comforting, it smells like fall and Christmas all put together.
Luxe Faux Fur Blanket from Costco – Hugo and I were at Costco last week and these blankets were marked down to $13.99. I bought myself the white one and almost grabbed a few extra to use as gifts, but I didnt. As soon as I got home I knew I had made a mistake. The next day I popped back in to Costco and they had disappeared! We went through the whole store 3 times and could not find the blankets, they were gone! I did discover that you can order online. This blanket has become the favorite in our house!
