Last week I shared our family trip to Montecito, CA. We spent the first part of our trip in the cutest little beach bungalow, but ultimately, our destination was the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel.
I had heard wonderful things about the Rosewood Miramar Beach, but hadn’t had a reason to visit until recently. Josh and I were attending an event there and it was the perfect timing for us to plan a trip.

The first thing I noticed when we arrived was how quiet the property was. It felt like its own little world in the very best way possible. The one sound you will hear occasionally is the train. A train track runs through the grounds, they even have a conductor who stands at the gate to allow you over the tracks. After a day or so of driving around Montecito, Josh and I realized that this same train was featured in one of our movies. We couldn’t figure out why it seemed so familiar (the Amtrak train in Unsung Hero!) I loved hearing it and thought it was such a memorable part of staying at the Miramar.

A perfect cup of coffee at The Revere Room with breakfast. The hotel created custom china pattern for the restaurant and it was so beautiful. Also worth noting was The Clover green juice and the Miramar Bees Latte which uses honey made by bees on the property.

Rosewood Miramar – Things of Note:
Our time went so quickly! We had meetings, several scheduled dinners and time with friends and family, it felt like it was over before it began. We all agreed that we would love to come back and stay longer.
A few things to note: there is a separate kids/family pool and adult pool, both are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious, we had a regular room but they also offer multi-bedroom cottages that are perfect for larger families or those traveling with grandparents. You can request a s’more kit from the front desk and roast marshmallows over the bonfire. The shopping is next-level. They have a goop! I picked up a new highlighter and the new hair serum from Necessaire. My final stop was the lobby gift shop for a hotel logo sweatshirt.
