Last week we celebrated the life of @imjoshwalsh g

Last week we celebrated the life of @imjoshwalsh grandmother. She was 91 and a wonderful Nanny to all of us. One of the pluckiest ladies I’ve ever met, she immigrated from Ireland at the age of 19, met and married Josh’s grandfather, was the mother of 6 sons and too many grands and greats to count! She was laid to rest with bagpipes and her grandsons carrying her. Her police officer sons arranged for the largest procession I’ve ever seen. I’m sure she loved it, what a lady!

Weekend celebrations for Jenna & David! I wasn’t a bit surprised at how perfect every detail was for their wedding (Jenna coordinated mine & @imjoshwalsh wedding almost 9 years ago!) They served the most perfect wedding menu I’ve seen, burgers, fries, mocktails, wedding cake and a late night cereal bar.

We enjoyed our long weekend in Austin, Texas with my family and good friends. 🌵❤️

The photos of summer. It’s been the slowest one I can remember in a long time. We had a handful of work trips, enjoyed some old and new hobbies, spent so many days at the pool, bought a new sofa and generally laid low. Ready or not, it’s time for a new season. 🍁

@imjoshwalsh booked me a facial, brought me breakfast in bed (Hugo ate his and half of mine…) took me out to lunch, and fishing (🤨) Then we ended the night at the theater with friends to watch @unsungheromovie where we surprised the audience (they had no idea the Joel was sitting in the front row!)

And my son, picking citrus out of the landscaping. 😂 We’re living our best LA life this week.

Hanging out at the studio for the afternoon and Hugo spots a poster with Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts and goes “Mom! It’s the lady from Zoom and that guy from Night at The Museum!” And a few other things buddy… 😂 Then the team let him remote control one of the horror props and drive it down the street (not pictured because I don’t want to be blocked and reported.) 🤡

He’s been a champ this week, along for the ride and being his charming little self. We’ve had our moments, but I’m proud of him and so very grateful for our friends and colleagues who have welcomed us as a family and become like aunties and uncles to our boy.
