I wrote a little about my Holiday Basket tradition last month and I’m back to share what I’m putting into Hugo’s St. Patrick’s Day basket.
I try to stick to a simple formula of something useful (a small but quality toy or clothing), something creative (a craft or art supplies) and a little something sweet (emphasis on “little”!) The dollar spot at Target usually has great filler items that are perfectly themed for seasons and holidays.
St. Patrick’s Day Basket for Kids:
- Lego classic kit. Will I regret this purchase when I am picking up all 213 pieces after tripping over one in the middle of the night? Most certainly. I also know that my sweet mother-in-law sent Hugo his first real Lego kit for his birthday and he has spent MANY quiet hours working on it. So we live and hope.
- Sidewalk chalk
- St. Patricks Day socks
- Mini flower growing kit
- Lucky Charms Snack Mix (check out the recipe here! It is so cute in little bags for gifting.)
I'd love to hear from you, leave a comment below!
