May 2022 Goals:
- To help our little family adjust into our new normal following our move (read about our latest adventure here.)
- Celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend! (Check out my blog post from yesterday for a few really good gift ideas.)
- Make an “Occasions Bin” I found this amazing idea by Occasions By Shakira (she came up with this!), it is essentially a basket filled with seasonal items for everyday use. Hugo gets the biggest kick out of fun/cheap little things like striped straws, cute napkins, etc. Keeping it on your countertop makes it easy to see and use. Check out my Pinterest board for more!
- Plant a garden in our backyard. I always swore I was not a garden girl, and I’m really not. But when we were in CA, I popped over to my friend Catherine’s perfect 1960s midcentury ranch that looked straight out of a Nancy Myers movie and her garden was to die for. I decided right there that I was going to plant fruit trees and star jasmine. I also told her that if they ever sell to please call us first, because she is living in my literal dream house. Anyway…
- Workout 3x per week.
- Travel! We are tagging along with Josh on a really fun work trip later this month.
- Watch Family Camp movie in theaters on May 13! I’m so excited to support this new family movie. Trailer here.
- Organize and deep clean our closets.
- Start a DVD collection for Hugo. This is a bit of a step backwards tech-wise, and I may share more about our decision later. We are building out an old fashioned DVD collection of family movies as an alternative to tv shows/streaming services.
- Celebrate K-LOVE Fan Awards! One of my favorite nights of the year, we love the K-LOVE Fan Awards. I can’t wait to plan my outfit! I’ll share as soon as the voting opens up.
I'd love to hear from you, leave a comment below!
